I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Have done some work work, which I am kind of annoyed with myself for spending ostensible leisure time on, but it should make Tuesday and Wednesday a little easier for me, I hope, and fixed the glides on my dresser enough so the drawers all close, so that's something. lost a lot of ball bearings in the process but I think that's acceptable. I would have liked to have been asleep already, really, but oh well.

I'm awake. Have to get to the pool before 8. Because senior citizens who don't share.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Poor kitten, he's better off with the vets!

Ubering is being very annoying thus morning, I suspect all my potential riders are sleeping in.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Aw, kitten.

I'm about to be concerned about Hazel -- you would think she was settling in great, except she hasn't used the litterbox! So I haven't done a full investigation to see if she's gone someplace else, but either way, I think not a great sign. But she also hasn't eaten or drunk much, either. Eh, transition. I probably should have kept her in one room at first, but did not!

Change is hard. Settling in vibes for Hazel.

Trying to decide if I am awake in the sense of ready to start the day.

not your mom's socks.

HELP I have fallen down the spoonflower pinterest wormhole.

ION parents' small stuff is moved, mom seems pleased (now). Their new neighbors are awesome and funny and fun. There are a ton of gardeners for my mom to hang out with. There are no stairs for my dad to wrestle with. He seemed pretty frail (though his mouth was working just fine) and my mom said he hasn't been doing much exercise lately - he mostly read while we packed, which is fine. My sister and I are getting him a tracking device... er, fitbit... for fathers' day. I am wiped out and there was SO MUCH DUST and so much snark.

Jessica that house is GORGEOUS.

Good thoughts for the kitten, Meara.

Wtf. I woke up at 615 this morning. This does not happen to me. I am not a 615 sort of person. But I was having stressy work dreams (though not about actual work, just dream work!)

I was thinking of going to the folklife festival today--it's every Memorial Day weekend here and I haven't been the past few years. Lots of music and dancing and vendors. But part of me is like "...or I could sit on the couch some more..."

I think all my bruises and aches from falling on Saturday hurt worse today. Blergh. [Autocorrect wants to make that "Bletchley ". Bletchley?]

Jesse, my cats pretty much poop once a day, so with the transition and all, I wouldn't be too concerned.

I laugh because so true. The AM crowd is decidely unsharey.

And so goddamn passive agressive. Which, granted, is something I have no patience for. Upon watching two ladies glare at the lane lines for a full 5 minutes a good 15 minutes before their class, I made the guard laugh with my muttered 'The Force is not with them, that line ain't moving' They couldn't even be assed to move it themselves.

And then another sputtered at me for actually making a splash. In a goddamned pool.

I do not like the morning seniors, no I do not.

Also, coffee+ swim= holy heartburn! Ugh.

So not a morning person.
