Huh. Today's informal meeting turned out to be more like an interview than I was expecting it to be. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I'm glad that I managed to rally and speak coherently.
I hope I can talk with an old manager tomorrow to get his advice on both Mountain View roles, since I don't have a manager right now who's spent any time working with me.
Oh, Sparky, I'm so sorry, that must hurt.
Parasols are great, Calli! I got mine at the Pirate Festival, I don't know where to get them generally, but I endorse their use for walking in the sun for sure.
I feel like I have a lot left undone today. But I am going home anyway.
Calli, my mother buys shirts and stuff from these people. They have parasols, though they're not stylish. [link]
As Hubby always said, it doesn't seem like our species really evolved to live on this planet.
I'm so sorry, Sparky. Be gentle with yourself.
I have not been able to put on pajamas yet because Comcast is supposed to come before 8. This means at 8:01, I get to be very sullen.
Someone hacked my debit card. Thankfully I paid my electric bill with my checking account and so my lights are still on. I was all paranoid driving home that I'd have to beg to turn my power back on.

Aaaaaalll the parasols! There are some really cute compact ones on eBay. And of course, Umbrellas.net has just about everything. [link]
A neighbor has taken over watching the dog for us -- they just had to put their dog down a few months ago, so I suspect Buddy (K named him immediately, of course) will either go home to his people, or he has found new ones. All of our contact information is still on everything, so we are not quite done, yet. I still don't particularly want to deal with company after all that, but will manage until I can excuse myself and hide in bed with a book.
Thank you, flea and Jilli! I will check them out.
