I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

So let me be the first to ask: how are you feeling?

Hah! Exhausted and about 10 minutes out from my next bathroom break, but luckily the food aversion is going away, so I've got that going for me. We've had the first ultrasound, and the amnio & level 2 ultrasound will happen in a few weeks (heart issues run in the family, so).

And how are you?

Because books.

I want to eat all the baby toes right now. We're going to need so many pictures of all the new ones.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Everyone who's not us, right?

Of course!

So glad to hear that the food aversion is fading. Here's to the second trimester! And may all the tests turn out to be exceptionally normal.

I'm doing pretty well, mostly just tired all the time. I had a blood test a few weeks ago that said my iron levels were low, so I'm eating some meat again in an attempt to get them up (and get some energy back). So that feels kinda weird, but also necessary.

Man, I can't believe I'm only 31 weeks along, though -- just shy of 7 months. I feel HUGE. How on earth can this baby get any bigger and still fit in there?

One of my swim buddies returned after a long absence. I recognized her swim form, but not her body. Cause she's 8 weeks shy of due date, had sickness until this point. But she feels incredible now and can't figure how she's swimming faster than before preg. Turns out, lots of pregnant women swimmers see this, despite the hydrodynamics, according to my crew..
