Thanks! Just finished the interview -- it was shorter than I'd expected, but I think it went pretty well.
That's a very quick interview wow!
I had the weirdest dreams last night. First that i was somehow trying to go "undercover" as a college student in this dorm/suite (?) where I the. Got drunk and blurted out embarrassing stuff to a (IRL) person I like who when was all pity and "I have a gf but I was only here because this other friend of mine was wanting to?" And then I woke up. And then dreamed I was on a weird round-the-world trip with my family (awkward!) visiting all these people we knew (apparently in dreamland some of my college friends have relocated to massive villas in Italy? and are willing to host my parents??). And then in the dream I got married (to someone I know but am not into IRL, and who wasn't into me even in the dream! Apparently there were Reasons we had to??). dreams just chock full of awkwardness and drama. Boo!!
Usually these interviews are about twenty minutes or half an hour, but this one lasted 13 minutes. I'm not sure if that's good or bad. It felt like it went well, but I'm really terrible at judging these things -- I've almost never been right about whether a school would call me back for a second interview or not.
Hil, what school (if you don't mind saying)?
Steph, just messaged you on Facebook.
Completely failed at adulthood this morning, starting with waking way too early, so doze off waiting for an alarm that is set for PM, not AM, wake up ridiculously late with a crud I hope is just allergies. Called in sick though symptoms seem to be clearing with half a Claritin, so there's that. There's more stupid, but I should be able to resolve that shortly. Off to buy batteries.
So, if we have to go from SFO to Palo Alto to San Francisco, we should just rent a car, right? I'm a little worried about the amount of time it takes to get into a rental car, but cabs both ways would be wicked expensive.
I have been to the dentist. Now I am back at my desk again. I guess I have to do work, now?
Yeah, Jesse, I'd think a car would be key there. I suppose depending on when/where you're going in SF you could take the train? Or train and cab? Also depending on if you'll be in rush hour, etc...
