I look more rad than Lutheranism

I've only got about 4.5 miles in so far today myself because of travel and rain.

I would repeat myself and say " 'Only,' she said," but now I know how many miles you walk a day, so that really IS "only".

I did no walking today, because good lord that blister on my right foot is huge and painful. It's on the ball of my foot right below my big toe, so pretty much the worst place possible. Owie.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah, I'd be driving to work with a blister like that.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

We spent most of the day painting benches at Franny's school, and then I spent the rest of the afternoon nudging Isaac through his homework. Frances, miraculously, finished her on her own. Ugh. Why do weekends feel like so much work?

brillig

When customer came in saying "I've got to finish this tonight, and my program doesn't work!", I used to care. I don't anymore.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Suzi, we have (about half of) our DVD collection in 16 of these boxes. They're very compact and keep things alphabetized.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I finally bought a new fitbit yesterday, and have already fallen down the tracking rabbit hole, so I know I walked 3.33 miles so far today. My PF is already laughing at me, as is my knee, but I still feel good.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I haven't been on a walk for a few weeks, but my god, I have been exercising! And I've made it back to yoga classes, and plan on turning part of the finished basement into a little exercise area, with my weights and my yoga mat, Dan's weights -- I can take my laptop down there and I have access to videos for strength and yoga.

And I am PSYCHED about starting up walk/jogging again. Our new hood is a GORGEOUS tree-lined street and it's mostly flat, but with some gentle hills.

OMG, guys, I love our new house and our new hood SO SO MUCH!!

Yay, Strix! So glad you are in the new place and happy. Pretty great feeling.

Jessica, I had bumped into those and was hesitant, so good to have a recommendation. We had filled 4 of the skinny Ikea DVD shelves which hold about 100 each. A fair chunk are boxed sets. But putting the rest in those boxes might work.

I started putting up some pictures/art before realizing that most of my picture hooks are still at the apartment.

So in trying to bleach out the henna, I actually did bleach my skin, which is creepy! But probably not that noticeable to anyone outside my body.

Ouch! Also, that's a very last-minute trip, goodness!

My fitbit says 4.08 miles, but most of that is because I walked around Greenlake with my friend earlier today (which is about 2.8 miles).

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I have been such a slug the last few days compared to all of you.

I actually laid out clothes for this morning last night, one of those things I always think I ought to do but rarely manage, but now I think the day is chillier than the clothes I picked will be appropriate for.
