Ginger, must be the day for bookshelves. As part of the flipping of the living rooms, I am moving 4 bookshelves. Only one done thus far. I am culling books as I go though, about 10 thus far.

I am taking a break, having a little muscle spasm in my arm. We did a lot though 2 tvs, 2 tv stands, a recliner, a couch, a chair, a table, and the one bookshelf plus books.

I had such plans for this weekend: cleaning the winter out of the car, seeing Age of Ultron, washing all the things, putting in the air-conditioner, groceries, laundry, etc.

What I didn't plan on was a sinus infection. Bleh.

Only getting the bare minimum done.

It is so beautiful outside here! But I'm still basically overstimulated from the long weekend in DC with my mom, so all I can do is watch TV.

Also, I got some mehndi on my hand, which was kind of a mistake. It could last for weeks?? I need to get to scrubbing.

Ugh, quester. That's certainly a good excuse. Feel better.

I have loads of stuff to do but just want to nap. Maybe a cup of tea would help.

I'm watching Captain America with Dylan and DH and ordering groceries online. (Oh god, if I move to the suburbs I'm going to have to leave my couch to get groceries, aren't I? What are we thinking??)

I'm pretty sure Peapod is in the suburbs! You will be OK.

Oh, Jesse, I have King Peggy's book on my TBR..er "pile" isn[t the right word when you're talking about Oyster, but...

I'm jealous of your Embassy/Passport adventures, Jesse! Dang, some things I miss from DC.

This morning, as my friend was driving us to go walk around the lake, I noticed someone else's car tabs that expire in March. And remembered that mine always expire in March. But I didn't remember doing them this year. Had I done it in like, February and already forgotten? When I came home I looked at my car. Nope. Totally expired over a month ago now. Oops.

Unpacking continues apace. I just broke down all the boxes I have unpacked and have a huge pile. I still have the majority of the kitchen and my bookcases to pack and move. I'm having to let go of my two HUGE bookcases. I just don't have room plus there are some built in cases (not as much shelf space). It feels SO WRONG to give them up. While there is more square footage here, it is mostly adding a third bedroom. I love my living room, but there is less storage space.

Right now I'm stumped on how to deal with my DVD collection. I had been using some shelves I had gotten from Ikea and, again, those won't fit in the new house but there is a built in cabinet next to the tv that is very deep and has one shelf. I'm sure I can pile my DVDs in there, but would lose any sense of order (yes, I have kept them alphabetized and I hate the idea of no order).
