You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

Thanks, folks.

I admit that I'm looking at her, and she's having trouble getting around, but she's still just herself, and I dunno. I may cancel the appointment. I don't want to deprive her of any good life.

good luck, Consuela. That's so hard.

Seattle is a little ridiculous with the May Day stuff. Anarchists and obnoxiousness, but also overblown drama--helicopters from news circling all day (and still circling, I can hear them!). Though at one point I saw (on TV, though it was only a few blocks from my house) cops lined up in the street each holding a bike as sort of a shield, and walking forward (to try to move the protestors) by having a line of bikes across the street (like, the bikes were perpendicular to the direction they were walking--they weren't on bikes or next to them walking them). It was so weird.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm about to go walk my second 5K in 2 weeks. Because I am INSANE. (It would be less insane if I hadn't just gotten back last night from Chicago, or if I hadn't had 2 back-to-back trips in the last week, or if I didn't have a giant blister on my right foot. But I REALLY want that finisher's medal.)

Damnit, have to get a move on today. I really crave normalcy, but ain't gonna get it. And that's just. Hell, I was just arguing that.

Time to apply a bra and go out in public.

Good luck, Steph, I'm sure you'll do great.

Gotta clean the house, start some laundry, clip dog nails (thus I am committing to another week or two with TNG), call the vet & cancel the appointment, go climbing, and then go look at slabs of quartzite with my sister.

Somewhere in there I may get a chance to go see The Avengers. My flist is full of responses to it, but I don't know what people are saying. Really, I need to see the movie just so I don't get spoiled first.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have GOT to get a start on moving the living rooms (we are switching them so all my stuff will be in the back where we are now keeping the cats). And I HAVE to get some things listed on eBay. If I can get a groove going I should be able to get at least 10 pieces of clothing listed.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I need to do laundry and pack my suitcase. I don't want to do either.
