Yay getting the ticket dismissed, Lee!

Boo lack of avocados. Also possibly boo Grey's--haven't watched, but given some non-specific spoilers and ...well, and what happened the last couple episodes, I can guess.

I went to a cuddle party tonight! I think it might've been better if I weren't so SLEEPY, I was like "ooh, pajamas and comfy pillows and zzzzzzzzz" But it was less weird and awkward than I had feared. I might go to another one sometime. Might not. But potentially.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG meara, that is like my nightmare. So thanks for going so I don't have to! Is it actually cuddling with strangers?

Woke up stupid early, will go to work early, but not THAT early.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Currently making me feel old: logged onto fb this morning to see that my host sister from Moldova, Natasha, got engaged. I watched her hit puberty and last saw her when she was 15.

I beat everyone into work this morning! At least, everyone in my department...

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

You are so adventurous, meara! I don't think that's something I ever want to do, but I do feel better for hearing that it's not as weird and awkward as I might suppose, for some reason.

I'm trepidatious about watching Grey's. I might put it off for a while.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Grey's Anatomy: Well, there's that.

I must admit I was crying pretty hard last night. I blame hormones.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Grey's Anatomy: I kind of knew what was going to happen, so last night's ep joined the plane crash ep in being ones that I watched in fast forward up until the last 10 minutes or so, which I watched normally. Saw what happened, didn't hear it. I may go back and watch for real, but I doubt it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Grey's Anatomy: I kind of figured out what was going to happen about 2 episodes ago, but it was a very emotionally manipulative episode, which I'm apparently a sucker for right now.

So, a couple weeks ago I got an e-mail from someone (in my company, but not someone I've met) saying they are changing this particular process and she will be the point person for a particular type of order, and here's one of those orders. And then she went on vacation for a week. And the e-mail I sent her yesterday asking for the last little bit of information we need to wrap this up got no response whatsoever. Maybe I don't know what "point person" means.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Maybe I don't know what "point person" means.

In this case, it seems pointless.
