this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I did my work-y stuff, too, and unless they send me more tomorrow morning, I'm done with work until Tuesday.

We need to meet with the petsitter in an hour, and then tomorrow I have to check in for the flight online, run errands (PetSmart for special expensive prescription dog food that the dog doesn't want to eat; pick up the graduation gift for my brother; CVS for Rx), meet up with a fellow ADD group member to give her the group's laptop, pack for the trip, try not to melt down.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'd like a vacation where I can sleep in my own bed. Not going to happen though...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I did 1+ work things! But still have to finish the two big ones by the end of the day Friday.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I have released the accursed whitepaper to production, THANK GLOB.

Now I just need to pack EVERYTHING for heading to the convention in KS tomorrow. It's not really a vacation, but it will be fun.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Yay to the yay's! And boo to the boos.

I was freaking out earlier when I hadn't heard from my loan officer - she finally called as I was wrapping things before heading to the airport. The big "problem" - all my loan docs say Susan while my real estate docs say Suzi. I explained that one is my legal name and one is my legal signature and whatever needed to happen was fine by me. So, they are drawing docs with Susan but since Suzi is on my DL, I can sign as Suzi. Drama.

The good news? The check I need to take to closing is sisnificantly less than I had expected. I know I'm going to need to replace my windows sooner rather than later - so I'll likely earmark the extra money for that. Need to get an estimate to see how much more I need to save up.

Less than 24 hours!!!!! More like 18ish.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That would be great, Liese!

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Lil bro now wants to meet in LI on Memorial Day weekend. Monos coming and doesn't want to go that weekend because of crowds and traffic (I agree) and thinks its weird that dad wasn't invited. I didn't say that I thought it was weird that she was invited. Lil bro wants to spend the weekend reminiscing on our past, hitting the old spots. I was hoping for an actual good time creating new memories. He swears no one will be in Westbury that weekend. Dude, it's right off the Wantagh Parkway. Straight shit to Jones Beach. Once again, a visit with fan that, holiday traffic or no, I am not looking forward to.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

"Hidely-ho!" say the tomatoes. Before you eat them.

This being totally effin' creepy is part of their plan to keep you from eating them. The not-getting-eaten part is, of course, why they themselves are so cheery.
