Wesley: Feng Shui. Gunn: Right. What's that mean again? Wesley: That people will believe anything. Actually, in this place, Feng Shui will probably have enormous significance. I'll align my furniture the wrong way and suddenly catch fire or turn into a pudding.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ugh Steph, I hope you get the chance to run away soon.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

That sounds like aural torture, Steph.

Can you write off noise-canceling headphones as a business expense?

information libertarian

We've reached that point post-moving where everything is still kind of chaotic, there's a truly staggering amount of work to do, and we're exhausted just thinking about it. I took today off because Casper is home sick with a spring cold and I am mostly just wandering around the house and sighing.

In, I guess, good news, we're paying off our car May 1? So we can divert that money into house fixing funds.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Having a paid off car is good news.

I keep thinking "Oh, finally, caught up" and then realizing that no, I am not. But I'm going to bail in about an hour anyway and go eat sushi with my mom (sorry, Lee, I could not manage it on a weekend and the voucher expires Friday, but I will report back if it is a must to try)

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I am in the 9th circle of hell. Mandatory WebEx business writing course. I *know* all of this stuff. Homonyms, active v. passive, who v. whom, insure v. ensure, etc. This is painful.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh, crap, Maria. That would drive me insane.

I love the TJs mozzarella and tomato salad, but it has enough lettuce stuffed into the container to make it impossible to toss in the dressing without dumping some of it onto my desk. harumph.

David, I'm pretty sure I'm already there.

brillig

This is painful

I've gotten so much good writing done in situations like that, and I get brownie points for so busily taking notes.
