Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

But she just found out she has arthritis behind her meniscus, and shouldn't run more than once a week, and only on the flat.

If arthritis is going to lurk behind her meniscus like that, the least it could do is support her in email.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Or wear dramatic "creature of the night" clothes.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Are brenda and Debet both starring in spontaneously generated rom-coms?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I think Buffistas are more dramedy material. We can sustain that longer format.

So an actor I've worked with several times is at the Castle wrap party right now. He says he's going to ask Nathan why all his [the actor's] friends keep saying "shiny" to him.

Jesse, I didn't know you had an Ubering friend! They do have a special $30 per hour rate for certain hours during Sunday and Monday. With some specific restrictions....

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I am a recent convert to The Uber and loving it. Mostly I take Ubers out and taxis home. I was talking about you and all your boston area pics with a driver the other morning.

Heh, driving around and seeing things (and oh! the stuff that I can't take pictures of because I'm actually driving at the moment) is definitely a bonus to the job.

Gonna do a rare afternoon shift -- the bonus hour pay starts at 2PM, so I'll go out for two or three hours, and then tomorrow morning for sure.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had such high hopes of Getting Out and Doing Stuff this beautiful morning, but so far all I've done is a load of laundry and shower.
