The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I remembered to buy cat food on the way home, so now I won't run out after I feed them tomorrow morning, so I celebrated by buying ginger molasses cookie ice cream.

I may put the bourbon on the ice cream.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I may put the bourbon on the ice cream.

Report back if you do this. For science!

Well now I have to, since it is for science.

Hooray science!

I think I would have preferred them separately, but it was still mighty tasty.

Science FTW.

Had a full force panic attack this afternoon. Once I calmed down some, K-Bug and I hit up Target and Home Depot...and did some serious damage. But I'm happy with what we found and I'm much calmer.

Yay, Suzi! So excited for your new house.

This weekend I have to look at the kitchen plan and mark it up for the contractors; they apparently forgot about the slot where the broom & dustpan will live.

Nice dinner with a friend, including splitting a very yummy tiramisu. Now I am drinking the last half-glass of wine from my kitchen bottle, and I really need to dive back into White Teeth for book club. I fear there will be skimming: book club is on Tuesday and I have a ton of work to do this weekend...

But first I might watch the Star Wars trailer again...

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I drove my first marathoner today! Boston Common and Back Bay are all set up two days in advance, and it seems like hundreds have their numbers on already.

Good to hear!

I have had my first soft-boiled egg. Which was also my first goose egg. Pretty good. I may make more of an effort to have toast available for my next one.
