msbelle, I'm so sorry to hear of your tribulations. Raising kids is not for the faint-hearted.
You're all making me sad. I have no ice cream, I haven't the right kind of booze to make fruity cocktails. I do have beer, though no truffle fries. I may just have to make do.
I have bourbon at home. Can't go to there quite yet, but when I do, bourbon.
I did manage to finish the one thing that I would have felt compelled to work on this weekend, and so far nothing has taken its place.
Stay away from Lee, work!
I try to use my limited powers for good. They are very limited.
I would offer you candy, Beverly, except I ate it all. Oops.
I have made it home. I have eaten two mini cupcakes. Now I am flopped on the couch watching this week’s Arrow and considering going to sleep before the sun goes down.
A citron-blueberry cocktail sounds lovely.
Go you with the whole restraint thing, Beverly!
I just got back from dinner. Dinner was two scoops of ice cream at the ice cream place out in the countryside, eaten on the front porch while watching the last of the sunset fade from the spring sky. Dinner was great!
I'm in my indoor pants or I'd be out the door seeking ice cream. I settled, if you could say that, for a New Belgium Abbey. I like dubbel ales. Perhaps tomorrow I will swing by the Union terrace and get some Babcock Hall ice cream.
Msbelle, I really hope the day improved.
Scheduled my annual review for Monday and got a gander at my eval. It's... interesting. Covers a ton of the bullshit I dealt with. Rightfully notes the morale impact. Curious to see if it is being spun as leverage on my behalf or a caution. I did tell every one of my supervisors if I started crossing line with my bitterness on my sleeve to please pull me aside and let me know, and no one said a word. So I'm hoping leverage, but we'll see. I'm not worried, but I'm pretty sure it's going to refresh all the rage.
