Salmon in teriyaki sauce is a lot healthier than what I had for dinner (I drove by Checkers on my way from the airport, and we don't have them in Seattle, so I had a cheeseburger and their yummy spiced fries and some sweet tea...)

It's so dang hot here that we had egg salad for dinner. And let me shill for my egg salad modification: put an avocado in the mix. SO GOOD. My ratio was 4 eggs and 1 avocado, plus some mayo and mustard. I smooshed about 1/3 to 1/2 of the avocado, which cut down on how much mayo I used, and left the rest diced. Again, let me say: SO GOOD.

Elks are BPOE - Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Grandpa Weed was an Elk, but I know the initials mostly from seeing the signs at various city limits saying what unions and lodges are in town.
I'm not familiar with P.E.O. but I have never lived in the Midwest, so there you go.
