Pix, I hear ya--I woke up with a headache and didn't get up until about 11:30. I'm now eating breakfast but still feel pretty crappy (I didn't even DRINK last night!). It looks nice outside, so I'm trying to convince myself that a nice walk somewhere would be good for me. Sadly my coworker who is usually really good about walks is out of town this weekend. And I'm feeling cranky that I have to get on a plane at noon tomorrow, so....I might just do nothing. Maybe a load of laundry.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Moving moving moving!!! Doing All The Things, All The Time!

But right now I have CLEAN CLOTHES at the TempHouse, and some water, and am sitting on the porch while the dog gets some yard time.

(Unfenced yard, and although Arthur is in no danger of running away, as he is tethered securely on a long lead (yeah, like a stumpy horse) I am paranoid about just leaving him alone outside. You hear horror stories of people dognapping dogs from back yards, and he is a purebred Corgi.)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

All of the mulch I bought this morning plus the third of a bag I had left over from last year have been applied, but that only covered the front yard and a very small portion of the back. The next 7 bags will have to wait until tomorrow though. Tired now.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Has anyone here hired someone to do stuff in a small yard? (By which I guess I mean landscaping....) My mother is killing me with lack of dealing with our front yard, so I might just do it.

The status is NOT quo.

I'm always having to convince myself that it's okay to do nothing.

Seriously! I have nothing pressing I need to do today and no reason to feel so ashamed of sloth, yet I feel like a total slacker.

Jesse, does it count that I hired a guy to rip out everything in my "yard" (which is like, 8'x8') and replace it with an adorable patio and raised bed/seating area?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I give everyone permission to do nothing. It's totally okay! Even necessary!

Way to go, Lee, that is a lot of mulch.

OH HAI DID THE OLD TENANT JUST ROLL UP?!

Let us watch this action and see what progresses. Will I have to take my glasses off? I can totally fight in this sundress...

ETA: Nope, just THREE 3:15 showings showing up at the same time, and we got to meet our back neighbors. So nice!

(I SO need to get to yoga tomorrow, if I am actually looking FORWARD to scrapping with an old tenant.)

Yep. I unloaded the dishwasher and put laundry away, and now I intentionally will do nothing but watch TV and read and occasionally eat things.
