Zoe: What's that, sir? Mal: Freedom, is what. Zoe: No, I meant what's that? Mal: Oh. Yeah. Just step around it. I think something must've been living in here.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

She's the sweetest dog and this sucks.

She really is, and it does. I'm so sorry Consuela.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Pets should not get old.

Yes, I'm sorry.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Well, this can only end well. I am informed that as of yesterday my dad is now a certified storm spotter. I learned this when I called to make sure he wasn't currently in the "take cover" zone for the tornado that is heading towards the WI house.

Laughed like a drain. At my desk. In an unseemly fashion.

I am grateful that I live near predictable natural disasters. No tornados, earthquakes, or wildfires for this kid. I don't know what I'd have done before modern meteorology.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Heh, one of my coworkers is wearing a black and blue shirt today. We just had to reassure her that it does not look white and gold.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Sorry for the ailing pets, and the natural disasters. Tornadoes are freaky. That horse has a level of zen I will never achieve. Gut bacteria rule our lives.

I found my eyeglasses! When I unpacked my suitcase, I hung the bag containing my toiletries and my glasses on the doorknob on the back of the door, and then forgot about it, somehow.

Hooray, Zenkitty!

The "internal posting exzpiration date" for the job I applied for was yesterday. Am already impatient to hear something. I rationally believe that that deadline probably means very little, if anything, and yet.

I have enough gut that you'd think serotonin wouldn't be a problem...

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Groovy. My DH's lab studies, among other things, connections between IBS and neurotransmitters.

Tornadoes continue to terrify me. Stay safe, brenda!
