Whoa! I... I think I'm having a thought. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a thought. Now I'm having a plan. Now I'm having a wiggins.

Took a 6 mile walk at a 15 minute mile pace. My butt is going to hate me tomorrow. But I needed to get some exercise and pool was closed for Easter. Not much blooming yet, though buds are starting to rapidly appear on trees. But the lake, a mile from me, is a pleasent place to walk. 1.3 mile loop for walkers and runners and bikers, and plenty of people watching. Especially on Easter! So many families in their Easter outfits. There's park surrounding it that people picnic and just play in.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

There was a guy at Norwescon this weekend who looked like one of the lesser Hemsworths. Not a particular one, just like he could be one.

Someone should totally find Matt someone who looks like Scott Evans. If not Scott Evans himself. (Total cutie. Doesn't look that much like his bro, but a total cutie.)

I am back from Michigan. All three of my nieces had a fast-acting stomach bug at different points of the weekend. I just hope I don't catch it.

Without my desktop, I'm trying to figure out how to watch the TV shows I'm behind on and get podcasts I've already downloaded on my phone. I've got free Hulu casting to my television while I upload mp3s to the cloud. Throwing a wrinkle in these plans is thast my old Chromebook can't seem to stay connected to wifi. Don't know if that's the Chromebook's fault or our internet.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh god, one of my coworkers was talking about being up all night with a sick kid. The rub if she gets the stomach thing is that she's been in West Africa recently, so they would totally whisk her off to isolation if she pukes!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oy, Jesse! Still, better safe than sorry I suppose.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

6pm is Zappos, btw. Same company, 6pm is where they sell with deeper discounts becacuse they don't offer free shipping both ways, and the return policy is only 30 days instead of 365. Even though Zappos can be expensive, I sure do like having more than a month to send the shoes back.

I like not having to pay return shipping--I can get it back within 30 if need be but if I can't try them on and see how they fit I don't want to pay to return them!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I neever heard of 65pm before. Interesting. Not that I should be shipping for anything, really.

About a third of my department is out today, no one who sits near me is in yet. Quiet.

brillig

I'm revising my work breakfast ham and cheese configuration, using these nifty half-bagels I found at the store. It was a moment of sadness when the thought "Perhaps less cheese" went through my mind. But it's purely from a structural point of view.

How are they half-bagels?

Mmm, cheese.

Note to self: stuff to buy on the way home: dried apricots, olive oil, cream cheese. Because writing it down (and I hope typing it out) helps me remember.
