There's a wine show at the local hippie co-op today, which is good, cheap fun. (The expense come when one buys a case off the good stuff, and I can avoid that until after I find a job.) Aside from that, I have a ton of library books and a recipe for filo-dough apple streudal that looks good for Easter brunch. I hope everyone has a lovely Easter/Passover/Blood Moon weekend.

Intermittently watching the eclipse decline until sunrise. Never looked bloody to me, but pretty cool. Deducing anything about orbital mechanics from stuff like that seems not straightforward. Just modeling the motion of the shadow in my head to my satisfaction (and I am generally pretty easy to satisfy for that kind of thing) is hard.
That was not enough sleep, yet I am very awake. I assume that will change at some point today.

Ok. I'm awake. New puppy is potty trained except for the early AM domination pooping in the kid's room. Which happened an hour ago.
I have to get my ass in gear as I'm going to a 5K at the the horse track. Seriously. My foot is seriously jacked up but I'm going anyway.

I drank like a champ last night, but am hungover like an old lady this morning.
Although I will say that chatting with msbelle first thing in the morning has quite a healing effect. Or maybe that's the coffee I drank while we talked, but I prefer to believe in the restorative powers of the Nicest.
