Oh, crap, it’s Internet Jackass Day.
Indeed. Although I will likely spend some time seeking out the fun ones.
Anne, much family~ma.
I never did figure out what I wanted to do when I grow up, but working for nearly 3 decades with DH has been nice. I hope to be healthy enough to do other things after I retire. I loved tutoring reading for the school system when my kids were little. There are so many things I'd like to try, but the whole having to work for a living thing gets in the way.
Do you eat kitniyot?
It's a debate every year, but I think I'm gonna say yes for now.
I've seen some of Thonk Geek's offerings today, not bad.
Google's is quite good. And hard to find.

The toaster oven works better when it is lugged in. And I would catch on to it not being plugged in faster if the timer weren't mechanical and therefore merrily ticks away counting down whether the toaster oven is plugged in or not.
Third time's the charm in attempting to warm up cinnamon rolls, I guess.
Damn you, Think Geek. I would totally buy Groot Beer: [link]
It was 80 degrees yesterday. It's going to snow tonight.
Spring in Utah.
Totally.
I have seen one 4/1 post that made me laugh out loud. It's a post from OnMilwaukee.com saying that the Rolling Stones show at Summerfest is cancelled and Elton John will be subbing in.
Which is only funny if you've been in Milwaukee for long enough to remember the Harley Davidson 100th anniversary about 10 years ago. They kept the headliner top secret until an hour before the show, and speculation was rampant that it was either the Stones or Bruce Springsteen. When it turned out to be Elton John there were near riots. Not actual, but plenty of outraged swouncing. On Harleys.
The comments are about evenly split between "ha ha, and he's playing at the Harley stage, right?" and "WTF! That's BS, boycott the Stones!". Nicely trolled, OnMilwaukee.
For April Fool's, Ravelry has put little hats on everyone's avatars.
My avatar has a "Viking" horned helmet. It brings me great joy.

Hee!
Our local weekly paper had an April Fools article about the Republican state legislature planning to split one of the Democrat counties in half so that they'd lose more of their political power. A bit too on the nose, there. For NC localistas (and others interested): [link]
