Open your conspiracy-loving piehole one more time and I'll stuff your epidermis in it.
Angry Buffistas, making me laugh.
I may have just bought every yard of Exploding TARDIS fabric at my local Joann's. I may also be finding it difficult to avoid saying, "It's curtains for you," out loud.
Sewing Buffistas, also making me laugh.
I'm probably going to be editing for the next 48 hours straight. I'm so far behind. I need you to keep me entertained, people.
Ugh, overslept my alarm by almost an hour this morning and when I was cleaning the litterboxes a roach (my first in 7 1/2 years in this apartment!) crawled up my pants leg. I blame the new noisy fratboy-ish neighbors below for both.

Ditto. I actually LOL'd, so thanks for that.
I had to get up for a 7am meeting that lasted 15 minutes.
It's sad when we measure our days by this.
Yeah. I'm pulling internal job postings so I can surf them while I eat lunch. Okay, technically while I
digest
lunch because I already crammed the sweet chili shrimp and tofu in my face.
Ew, Matt!
I keep hearing our new (as of, like, January) Managing Director introducing himself to the people who sit near me. Not me, though. Trying not to take it personally, but after a couple of higher ups have only said hi in passing and have not acknowledged in any way that I haven't been here for over two weeks I feel a little blinvisible.
I saw that there's an internal posting for a bookkeeper here, which would technically be more in my field but I'm pretty sure would in reality be a step down career-wise so I'm ignoring it. I know I've got that "where do you see yourself in the future" conversation looming over me at my review though. I have no idea! Still doing this for quite a while is okay, though, maybe that's an acceptable answer.
I had a coaching meeting with the QA department yesterday, and she said "We keep trying to get you moved over here! There's an opening in a couple of months, please apply for it."
That's a nice feeling.

It would be to me! Not everything needs to be a stepping-stone.
It is lovely outside. Too bad that means it's hot in my office! My boss's office was literally 80 degrees this morning when we were in there with the door shut.
That is nice, Connie. Would you be interested in working with QA?
