See, in my fantasy, when I'm kissing you... you're kissing me. It's okay. I can wait.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Holy cow, I REALLY killed Natter.

Because books.

Natter is unkillable, Theo. But sometimes it does take a nap.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Amy, I was looking in Press and now I have to wonder--what is a cozy?

Jesse - Mar 27, 2015 4:52:39 am PDT #23056 of 30000
Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Not Amy, but cozies are the kind of light mysteries -- if there's a recipe at the back of the book, it's definitely a cozy. Usually an amateur detective ala Miss Marple, maybe a small-town setting, etc.

I am a hot mess today for no good reason. Ugh!

Ah, that makes sense. Cozy, comfy, home cooking kind of thing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

...And my boss just told me the ways in which I have fucked up an important internal relationship, so there's a reason. I was already about to cry all morning anyway! Also interviewed a potential candidate this morning and have to do a three-month review this afternoon. So this day is working out great.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Head directly to Happy Hour after work, Jesse. This the kind of day that needs to be expunged with liberal amounts of alcohol.

Aw man, Jesse. That sucks.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I'm sorry Jesse. Totally sucks.
