I almost laughed, it was so over the top, but I thought she'd take it the wrong way.
...I dunno I think any way she would take that would be the right way. Because WTF.

Very WTF, but I guess sometimes no one acts more junior HS than the parents.

Laughing would totally have been the correct response.
I wish he would have just one friend whose parents were my people.
Good news is that there was apologizes from both sides tonight and he did what I asked him this evening.

That sounds like a ray of sunshine.
Suddenly grateful for the ridiculously nice parents in my elementary school.
I don't know why the right gets so het up about San Francisco Values, man! It's all about inclusiveness.
I need to share the most over the top San Francisco Cliche Moment from Matilda's Portfolio Night (that would be Back To School Night). For snacks they had baguette cut into slices, with little bits of fresh mozza and drizzled with their own homemade vinaigrette.
Which the kids all assembled. And when they ran out of the last key ingredient they would yell out, "We need more arugula!!" and they would run out to the school's own garden to yank off a few more leaves.
Because they think they win, therefore they don't need to be included.
That's fantastic, Hec, and so SF.
I took some pictures of the dogs yesterday; here's one. The one in front is Sam, she has about a dozen dog titles. Obedience, Rally, Draft Dog, Obedience Utility, Draft Dog Excellent, etc etc etc. More degrees than my entire family!
