I am damned lucky; the staff at my GP's office are pretty great. And I LIKE my doctor.
I even edited her husband's sci-fi novel MS.

I just ran into that 'prescription runs out' with my EYEGLASSES. Which, since my old glasses (and prescription) were four years old, and I'm in That Age range, made reluctant sense even though I really didn't want to pay out the $91.
I still have to go back and get my pupils dilated, which I skipped that day.
Such a Monday. Hit snooze one too many times, attitude from Mac including insinuating that I was making up things and lying to him, me throwing a f-bomb at him, no time for dunkin coffee, rain over the weekend means very little work at work today which = grumpy boss (March rains have put us way way off our numbers), new rules for POs mean I need to now do double the number of POs for the same number of invoices (no explanation as to why the old set-ups are all of a sudden an issue), I'M ALREADY HANGRY AND IT'S ONLY 11, and I have run errands at lunch which means interaction with people.

My optometrist has a machine that can do whatever it is they do with dilated pupils, only without having to dilate them. They charge an extra $25 for it, but when I was working that was totally worth it, because I could go back to work and stare at text and code for the rest of the day.
Ah, msbelle. That sounds like a truly craptastic start of the week. I hope it gets better.
ION...
OK, I have to geek out a little here, because I don't want to post on FB till it's a done deal, and we should know by tonight. So the house I'm asking the -ma for?
3 bedrooms, which we wanted: a master and a bedroom for The Kiddo, with these amazing closets, another bedroom which will be a home office WITHOUT any clothes or non officey stuff in it, so I can FINALLY claim it as a deduction; nice sized living room with freshly refinished dark oak floors, a pretty WORKING woodburning fireplace, a decently but not huge kitchen with plenty of storage, a range (sadly not gas, but oh, well), dishwasher, disposal, new fridge, TONS OF STORAGE CLOSETS, a finished basement WITH A BAR!!!!
A finished laundry room for our washer and dryer, a one car carage with a brand-new door opener, a driveway, a HUGE nice fenced in backyard for the Corgimeister to run around in, a little deck, but plenty of space in the yard for chairs and tables and a fire pit, and a $250 pet deposit for 4 animals.
6 minutes by car from where we live now,well-located, nice neighborhood, still in an excellent school district for middle and high schools, just in case. Enthusiastic permission to plant flowers and garden, reimbursement of materials for improvement, like repainting ironwork. 1 1/2 baths with a bathtub BIG ENOUGH I CAN FINALLY TAKE RELAXING HOT BATHS IN AGAIN!!!
There's no pics of the inside, but here's the link to the house: [link]
From that link before, black bean avocado enchiladas. Sounds yummy!
msbelle, I hope your day gets better.
Erin, tons of house~ma. It sounds wonderful.
Thanks!
have already gotten tons of stuff done today, because I popped up awake at 7:30, and am trying to distract myself. HATE. WAITING.
msbelle, snding you all the comforting vibes of Harvey's best, snuggliest purrs.
Oh Strix, fingers and toes crossed for you. That is bigger than the place I'm getting...would have loved a basement. They would be crazy not to pick you.
Plei - tons of house~ma to you too.
Miss Kitty is trying to cuddle me as I work. She keeps putting her paw on my arm to get me to pet her, but I have too much to do (yet, why am I here?).
