Our Paddy's Day parade was cancelled because the roads are still too icy. I have tickets for a raffle on two tickets to Dublin, so I am hoping the cancelled parade will increase my odds of winning.
We are having strompocalypse tomorrow, so I am running around doing errands today.
Aww, Darby.
Seabiscuit's girl (who is age-inappropriate for him) came to visit him and he was ecstatic...until he realized she'd brought another boy with her! A tiny little annoying puppy of a boy who was yapping at her and biting his girl's neck! It was awful. He didn't even wrestle her, he was so distraught. But then, he got over it and hung out happily with them both all week.
I swept out the mudroom and put things back where they belong in there, started a wash of the dog's bed (because STINKY), and cleaned litter. Realized part of my frazzledness was having not eaten, so have now eaten.
still can't find my phone.
THANK YOU FOR THE CALL. Got it.
msbelle found her phone.
I am dealing with the basement. Because we are packing! To move!
THAT IS AWESOME, flea!!!
I'm contemplating booking a last minute massage today. I have a million things to do but could really love not having my shoulders permanently up around my ears.
Woohoo, flea!
I'm back on schedule, despite having to go to two Targets because the first lost power and was running on generators, which meant 1. Grocery section was closed and 2. Shopping in the dark, no thanks.
Soon as laundry goes into dryer, cookie dough.
We are onboard the ship and underway! The Internet is only available in the cafe and sloooow, but it's here, so yay!
I accomplished all my objectives for Amsterdam: Van Gogh Museum, pie, saw some canals, bought some cheese. Would like to go back and see more.
I am dealing with the basement. Because we are packing! To move!
Hooray! Please let me know what we can do to help -- I can lift/move things that are not heavy, because my back is stupid, BUT I have a husband who is mighty and can move big things. Also, I am great at making the gatorade/beer/Doritos run.
Seriously, we'd be more than happy to help, so please let me know what we can do.
One of our major move issues is our couch, which had to come in via the balcony and French doors, which was done with the help of 3 professional movers plus mr. flea and the neighbor. And rope, I think. So that will be fun to do in reverse. I can see mr. flea and Tim having a grand old time with that. (We're not planning to actually move in until mid-April.)
What is your week like? I am off Thursday and am planning to spend the day (after we close at 9:30am) at the house doing things. Want to come see/have lunch?
