Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Send the skunk to the Knights of Columbus?

I feel I should make a comment about this, but I can't shake this image of Pepe Le Pew singing "If you're thinking about being my baby, it don't matter if you're black or white."

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

You guys, I laughed so hard at poor Darby last night. We were at the park at about 11 and all of a sudden she goes tearing off into the dark across the baseball field.

Usually that would be alarming but really there's only one thing that makes her act that way. A little 15 lb black and white charmer named Rocky who she is head over heels IN LURV!!11! with.

But I finally catch up (thanks for the run across the mud field, dog) and it's three teenagers. And she's running all around them, between their legs, bouncing out of her skin, looking all around. I realize that one of the girls actually looks a bit like Rocky's mom. And she's going crazy trying to find him. I finally had to put her leash on and drag her away.

Poor girl. I promise we will see your BF soon. In the mean time I will laugh and laugh.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

It's raining here, but reasonably warm. Tonight we're going to the Harmony Sweepstakes Mid-Atlantic regional.

I had skunks living under the house in the mountains. They have noisy sex.

Uhg, woke up at 4:30 in a panic that it was Monday and review day, so I better stay up and that lasted 5 minutes before I realized it was Saturday. So I went back to bed and overslept and it was pouring rain so I wimped and drove to market.

I have a horrid headache and so much to do.

information libertarian

Baby skunks are adorable. Yet smelly. I wish you no baby skunks.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think there is no Animal Control here -- or, at least, the City website directed me to the MSPCA. Where I learned that they have babies in May, so maybe I can just encourage it to go live somewhere else before that.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Me too. Ugh.

Aw, poor Darby, looking for her friend!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

maybe I can just encourage it to go live somewhere else before that.

Jesse, what I did was wait until late night, when my tenant was out on their usual rounds, and then crawl underneath the house and put up heavy screening material so they couldn't get back in. I also put up a motion-control solar-powered LED nearby, and that seems to have done it.

We have an abundance of skunks this year because it's been such a warm winter the skunks all think it's spring and are out breeding extra early. The males fight and spray when breeding, and the females spray the males who are too demanding, and there's more of them than usual so they're all over, and easily startled (when they spray).

Skunk Apocalypse has a nice rhythm to it.
