Mal: You tell me right now, little Kaylee, you really think you can do this? Kaylee: Sure. Yeah. I think so. 'Sides, if I mess up, not like you'll be able to yell at me.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

OK, if I end up not getting much sleep Wednesday night, that is okay. In fact, that might be good. Maybe it's time for a drink.

SLEEP ON THE PLANE

I am already on the second glass of wine.

I actually had a pretty productive day--the bathroom is only a little bit clean, but that was on Tuesday's list anyway. Everything else is clean (lee clean, not deep clean, but still), and I got some of the other stuff done, including some packing.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I will also vote for DST all the time.

I am on the record as being SO HAPPY about DST. I love love LOVE the extra light at the end of the day. It doesn't matter (much) that my sleep is fucked up for a week or so, because it's still light at 8:00 p.m.!!!!!

I've never been conscious enough in the morning to appreciate sunlight.

Also that.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Zen, in 6 months the Hellbeast will be all done. Canott WAIT.

We don't know how were going to afford the move, and we're pretty sure the gas will get turned off this week, so I am going to try to sell my car. I really haven't driven it since Oct 2013, except for 2 weeks this August, and then something wrong with the trasnmission. I think/hope it just needs fluid, so I'm going to talk to a guy I know and see if I can get it towed (thank you, roadside assistance!) and see what's wrong with it, and see if (a) it's an easy cheap fix, fix it, then sell it or (b) try to sell it to a mechanic, because almost every mechanic I know buys cars, fixes them up and sells them for a profit. And I'm cancelling my gym membership.

Does anyone know how people find out the FICA score without paying for it? We're thinking about trying to get a small short-term loan with a co-signer (Dan's mom or maybe my folks) but my credit is shit, and Dan's isn't much better, thanks to (you guessed it) the ex.

BUT -- February, my traditional Depression Central Month is over, and I maintained thee best I have in years, and I am back to work on a few projects, so while we have some significant obstacles to overcome, I'm not spiraling into the death whirlpool of anxiety and depression. Better living through chemistry and exercise, y'all!

Jilli -- that response was magnificent, and I need you to be my queen. HA!

And thanks, all, for the congrats on the house offer. They come to check for radon tomorrow, and the inspection is tomorrow, too. House-ma, please!!

SLEEP ON THE PLANE

THAT"S MY PLAN

Scheduled payments for all the bills that come due while I am gone. Time for a tasty beverage.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Jilli, that was a perfect Wednesday moment.

I am the opposite. I actively despise DST. It fucks up everything I do from commuting to work all the way through getting my children into bed. LOATHE.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Apparently, Hawaii doesn't do DST. So, now I am an additional hour off from all of you, but the sun still rises and sets at the same time it did

I may have made a tactical error and left myself with no clean towels for tomorrow. Not gonna get up and check the linen closet right now. I'll figure it out in the morning.

I don't like it either, Kat. I don't mind it in the middle of summer when there is just so much daylight shuffling it around a little doesn't matter so much, but right now it is exactly what I don't need.

Do you have any credit cards? Capital One has a link where you can check your credit score.

I forced Dan to get a teeny credit balance Cap One card just a month ago! (Damn good thing, too, else we'd be starving right now.)

I'll ask him! (and I need to get a copy of the card for myself, too, dammit.)

Thanks, Connie!
