Congratulations, Drew!
msbelle, you are the epitome of persistence pays off. Good for you!
I depend so heavily on My Check Free to keep me on the straight and narrow. As soon as I get an e-mail reminder I pop online and either pay the bill or schedule it to be paid. It's great because I can go to one website and pay multiple bills at one time.
I have most of my bills directly withdrawn because I suck at dealing with that sort of thing, and I think I need to pay my car taxes in person at the tax office today, possibly I needed to do this yesterday.
Yay, ND!
We are headed to El Paso. We will be seeing Carlsbad Caverns, the El Paso mission trail, and Las Cruces NM. Possibly White Sands park.
We have family ties to both places, so old houses and graves to see.
Cindy, I'm sorry for the loss to you and the other Bronzers.
I am a model of selflessness, y'all.
I have given up my India trip in order to send one of the people on my team to Singapore instead. (Politics means we can't do both, since people are sensitive about the HQ-based people getting more opportunities.) This is especially true since I've been trying to get sent to Singapore for years and I could have taken the slot with no eyebrows raised.
My boss was appreciative though:
You pulled a great leader move though ;-)
I wasn't testing I swear but I'm impressed ;-)
So there's that.
Cindy and Bronzers, so sorry for your loss.
Jewels in your crown, brenda!
Way to go brenda and Noise!
I've been at work for an hour and only just now got my lunch into the fridge. Looks like maintaining focus will be an issue today.
How long has it been since you've been to Cruces, msbelle?
Parts of my sidewalk are almost dry. My car should be snow and ice free shortly, thanks only to the sun. However, one of the sidewalks on the way to the Y is probably ice half a foot thick, and smooth, for most of it. It's where water runs off the raised field, so pretty impossible to prevent, but I will be walking cross the field no matter how deep the snow for the foreseeable future.
Loki is fighting my laptop for my lap. Which, fine, but his purring made a debut in the webex meeting this morning.
