Yay, ND! Congratulations!

And congrats to msbelle on all the TCB-ness today.

I hate ripe bananas but I looooove banana bread. Too bad I have to smell the overripeness to get it.

Wait until they're getting to ripeness, then stick them in the freezer. When you want to make banana bread, take them out, let them defrost: the insides will be kind of goopy and perfect for making banana bread with. Or at least, that's my experience.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Ugh, Plei, what a crock of crap to have to deal with. You have my sympathies.

"I like the title."

And he doesn't have the imagination to go, "Official-Sounding Medical Dealies: Bold Changes Ahead"?

Unofficial congrats, Drew.

I was going to say something about my work life but I can't remember if it was supposed to be a vague whinge or how I don't have to tell supervisors, "Don't make me angry, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry," because my coworkers tell them, "Don't piss off Andi. She'll be professional. She'll be polite. But you really don't want to piss her off," for me.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Skipping. ~mas as needed.

Bronzers, my condolences. 2015 is a rough one.

There's a couple of squirrels hanging upside down on my neighbors' brick wall, in the sun. Both are chafing their paws, which answers the question, if you had it, whether their paws get cold.

Found out one of our ALLEYS got plowed! We're in shock.

Going to make an early cookie run to the Y in a few.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

And fuckity. Spring break departing flight tomorrow has been cancelled. They are trying to reroute me through 2 other cities. Making my 1 hour flight, 8 hours. NO!

I guess I get to call and fight.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh no, msbelle!

I did exactly the same thing as Lee with my Target card. And then the following month forgot I had a late charge and knew I hadn't shopped at Target so didn't even look at my balance at bill-paying time because I was sure it was zero. Sigh. Not too steep as stupidity taxes go, I guess.

Shrift inspired me - purple pants and green shirt today.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

msbelle, that sucks.

Well it DID suck, but I just got super helpful AA reservationist Ms. Arlene Franklin, and we are now on a non-stop tomorrow morning, leaving 2 hours earlier than our original flight!

I need to go tweet her praises.

Virtual congrats, Drew!

My company's owners (who live on the property) said they got 12 inches of snow yesterday, so I get another snow day. Unfortunately I have to venture out to the bank (and to get the tub of cat litter in my car), so it's not a stay-in-pajamas-and-nap kind of snow day.
