Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm sorry, was my gloating unseemly?

We've broken our snowfall record--for days without snow during winter.

We seem to be having winter today and yesterday.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Nah, Jesse. Those of you in NE have earned that right. We can piss, moan, and complain, but at least I have not had it nearly as bad as you this winter.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

All your talk of snow made me look out the window to see light snow falling which made me look at the forecast. We just have 2-4 inches expected tonight, but we still haven't had much melt from the last week of snow.

Deep breath, deep breath. You are listening to the A's on the radio (or the sound only broadcast through mlb on the tv, not sure if "radio" is the right term anymore). And the A's are up 5-2 over the Giants. Don't stress over the snow.

No, the freakish Seattle weather (it's supposed to be sunny all week. And 60 this weekend) is gloating. Except it's WEIRD. Where are the clouds and rain??

I signed up yesterday to do a "float" at one of the new sensory deprivation places, today! So, leaving for that in an hour or so. Hoping my internet and cable will be back on before then--right now am hooked up via iPhone hotspot.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

We may possibly get snow tomorrow. We'll see.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I thought you already broke the record, Jesse.

My car was covered with flower petals when I went to get my hair cut on my lunch break. Not sure of the species, but light pink.

We broke some month record or something, but not the full winter yet.

I signed up yesterday to do a "float" at one of the new sensory deprivation places, today!

Yay! I now think it would be perfect for me with music or something, but maybe I should just find a hot tub I can use somewhere.

Punishingly Intricate

(I swear to god, if we DON'T break the annual snowfall record, I am going to be pissed.)

I've been thinking that, too. It just would be salt in the snowy wound if you're not breaking the record.

I came home early because the feds closed early and canceled our afternoon meetings. I brought my computer but my boss said "Don't doing any more work today" so, fuckit, I won't! (p.s. I did check and reply to email.)

Now I'm trying to decide if it's actually icy out or just rainy and if I should try to drive over to the petstore and pick up one of their last buckets of petsafe ice melt. And them maybe run to the store while I'm out. I can't decide!!

Our wings are not tired

we will have had a freezing rain warning

The first year I lived in Cincinnati I was on Fairview right at the top of Ravine St, which has got to be one of the worst streets in the city to have to cope with when there is snow or freezing of any sort. We'd sit at the stop and watch cars just slide to bottom, or spin around trying to get to the top.
