Congrats Zenkitty!

Congrats, Zen!

Comparing 2013 to 2014 is confusing me a bit wrt to the itemized deductions, but all the right numbers went into the same places on the 1040, so I think I'm ok. 2013 was complicated by the refi.

Burrell, kitten! Very striking one at that. If it is owned, just a wanderer, maybe Fanny can get visiting privs. Or rather, the cat can.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh congrats, Zen! That's amazing.

Our wings are not tired.

That is indeed a wonderful thing to accomplish, Zen! Congratulations!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

In an accomplishment on a much smaller scale, I managed to bake a good biscuit from scratch this evening. I'm a real adopted Southerner now! Seriously, I can make apple pie, cheese cake, a couple of real cakes, and several cookies and have them come out reasonably edible. But this is the first time I've mastered the biscuit. I was craving one, found a recipe online that made 8-12, used 1/8th of everything, and baked it in the toaster oven. I think the key was sifting the flour.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

-t, I'm glad your dad is okay.

Zenkitty, congrats on paying off that mortgage!

My hair was getting a little shaggy, so I left work early and got a haircut. I do not regret this choice, because now my hair looks much better and I'm a little more relaxed. It's not like I was accomplishing much other than trying to unfuck my travel and cancel my vacation time and putting it back in as bereavement leave.

I'll be bringing a big bag of Mardi Gras beads for my nieces.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Nice Calli - want to come cook for me? Biscuits sound amazing right now.

And WAY TO GO ZEN!!!

The mortgage gal didn't call me back today. I want to stick with my credit union if at all possible. The rates are competitive with other places I have looked at. If they can't figure out how to do the co-signing thing, then I'll look for a mortgage broker.

I slept most of the afternoon and my guts still hate me. I'm trying to get caught up on work now. Oh joy.

I hope your guts feel better soon, SuziQ.
