Buying stuff you "need" for vacation counts as being productive, right?

Absolutely.
I was productive, I bought 2 tops and a skirt from eShakti on a buy 2 get 1 free deal, plus my promotional credit of $30. I feel very accomplished.
The living room is crushing my spirit.
I have taken a shelf of Hubby's old magazines to the recycling bin and am about to take a bag of books so battered only the people who battered them in the first place would keep them--and I'm not keeping them any longer. I'm going to do some eBaying of gaming stuff later. All such stuff has sold so far, so it's a profitable way to declutter.
I also joined Netflix last night and have watched some old Who--though most of Baker and McCoy eps I want to see aren't on there--and I'm binging on Good Eats at the moment. So it's kind of productive. Kind of.
edit: And my Cartoon Guide to Algebra arrived, but reading is tricky due to the variation in eyeball acuity at the moment. I think I'm going to splurge on the lens that can focus up close as well as far away for the left eye.
The only thing about my day that could be described as productive is my cough and some cleaning off of shows from the DVR.
I have had a productive day through necessity. ND and my two local best friends are throwing me a Fabulously 40 party tonight, so I've been cleaning the house in preparation. Now to figure out my "most fabulous attire," as requested by the evite. Any suggestions?
I did the float tank thing! It was cool, but 90 minutes was too long for me, really -- for a while I was meditative and whatever, but then for a while I amused myself floating end to end in the tank and thinking about whatever. I'd go back, probably, but only for an hour.
That sounds great, Jesse!
You too, Pix! Most fabulous maybe should include a boa and a tiara?
Feel better, sj.
Miss Havisham's house burned up in the end, didn't it? I guess that isn't really a practical solution. I am doggedly getting somewhere, though "better than it was" is a long way from "good".
Ah, well, it's about time to find out if a Death Star ice cube improves the flavor of a whiskey and soda. It seems like it would have to, because Death Star.

Is that Colin Baker? I hope it's got the Tom Baker era. Which adventure(s) did you watch?
