"Draw the curtains" is the one that always gets me.
Amelia Bedelia! Possibly the only place I've actually encountered that phrase.

Love Amelia Bedelia! Dress the chicken!
I found a chocolate chip cookie recipe that I want to try that may be of interest to others here. It's vegan and gluten-free. And it looks yummy.
Those look good! And easy! And I have all the ingredients in the pantry!
Burrell, now I'm browsing through that whole recipe site, and there are a bunch of things I want to make!

I am butthurt. Not figuratively. Desk guy at the Y saw me wince as I came up the stairs and asked if I'd pulled something swimming.

My mom was taking 4 Norcos on an hourly basis toward the end. And driving. When I discovered that, we went to the hospital to try to come up with a better pain management plan and that was the beginning of the end (post 2 kidney transplants and a cancer diagnosis, so beginning may not be the right word).
K-Bug, CJ, and I just sent up her bedset in my room. I am going to need a stool just to get into bed, it is so high now. I've never had a headboard/footboard before. I'm going to feel like a princess tonight. AND afraid of rolling out of bed.
