I can't see it as white/gold at all. It always looks like an overexposed photo of a blue/black dress to me. MY EYEBALL RODS STRONG!
Same here. I even tried messing with the brightness on my screen. Blue/Black or faded Blue/Black.

Things that confuse me: The United Way hopes to raise 1.4 million dollars from the campaign at my University. The United Way gives 1.8 million dollars TOO the University. Doesn't that seem like a huge waste of time and money.

Yeah, not once has it looked white/gold to me. Even in the left panel of the xkcd.
Most of the pics I've seen look white and gold, sometimes with blue shadow. One or two I've seen the blue/black. All on my phone in similar lighting, so who knows.
