Both my roommate and I see it as blue and black. Tried tilting my screen and twisting the laptop side to side and while I could get kind of a photonegative effect, I could not see white and gold.
Connie, I don't much like cooking during the week, which is why I do something in a crockpot on the weekend so I have many meals to reheat over the next week.
Scola, that was the first time I'd seen the dress other than blue and black.
Crockpot, Connie? One pot, and leftovers you only have to heat up?
Me, too! But the first time I looked at Scola's link all I saw was blue and black and I shrugged it off. Then Bev said it changed for her and I went back. And all of a sudden I'm seeing white and gold. How bizarre! I know it's all in the lighting, but still.
I saw it first as light blue and gold. But when I got to the bottom of the comments then back up it was solidly blue and black.
Looks white and gold to me, though it's backlit so the white is showing blue-ish shadows. Where people are getting the black from, I have no idea.
Yeah, it really looks like a bad eBay auction shot. I can see how it could be black lace, because Ive seen a lot of bad eBay auction shots where shit is all washed out, but I see what Matt sees.
Looks like really faded blue/black in bad lighting.
I opened the page with the dress photo in another tab and it looked like poorly lit white and gold. After looking at other things for half an hour I went back to the tab, and it looked like an intense blue and black.
I feel like this picture needs The Final Countdown and a spray of confetti. Maybe a GOB voiceover.
ETA I've been seeing it as blue since it's gotten dark outside.
On my laptop I see it as blue and black, but it was very clearly white and gold on my monitor at work, which in theory is calibrated to give me as close to WYSIWYG for printing as possible.
