I'm with Tep on Cavill. Handsome, certainly. Doesn't do anything for me. (Also, that beard doesn't work on him for me. Beards are hit or miss. His jaw is too broad for it to work.)

Thanks, Maria. My connection has been rebooked (although I'll get in after the rental car desk closes, so it's all about the taxis for me, I guess). And now my 12:40 flight is showing a 4:30 departure time. I'm sort of at the point where I'd like them to just cancel it and let me get on with my life.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Not for nothing, but this is why there are so many famous people considered attractive -- everyone doesn't like the same ones! If we did, we would only need one.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That would be a sad world to live in.

Coding and Sleeping

So I've started watching X-Files while using the elliptical because it's Amazon Prime and I've never actually watched any before. Watching that while seeing our beagle sleep on the sofa made me think of a sure thing new TV show. I call it the B-files. It stars a cute, clever beagle who belongs to a FBI agent played by Emily Kinney because she's ridiculously cute and would probably look really cute doing cute shit with a cute beagle. Anyhow, the beagle helps break the case every week. Of course the FBI agent has a partner played by Grant Imahara because he's cute too, not technically an actor but that's okay since he'll be upstaged by the beagle anyhow, and he keeps trying to solve the case with robots. So you've got a cute beagle interacting with robots and solving crime--ratings gold. I figure I should pitch it to Animal Planet because they're woefully short on crime procedural shows.

Oh, man. FUCK CAPITALISM. WHY DO I GOTTA GO TO WORK????????

Signed, dogs woke me up at 2am for a potty break.

Also, my last REM cycle was devoted to reading ads for a sex toy that also had a setting for fake scat play, and the ad, which became a TV ad, because I was dreaming, was showing the poop setting and saying all the ways you could use it, which included "on cake!"

Not the dream I wanted to wake up on, brain.

Perhaps a mutant cute, clever beagle, to enable the whole "clever" factor? Ursula Vernon, a writer and beagle owner, describes hers as "a single brain cell attached to a nose." Otherwise, excellent show idea! I'd definitely watch the pilot

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Actually, though, I think a wider range of famous men are considered attractive- from Steve Buscemi to Matthew Bomer-- than women which is sort of from Mindy Kaling - Keira Knightly or something. I can't think of who is the "most beautiful woman" right now. But I can't think of very many weird looking women even working.

Also, Channing Tatum's WIFE is REALLY PRETTY.

See, Channing Tatum's wife, like Channing Tatum, doesn't do it for me.

Mark Ruffalo's wife, on the other hand? Yes, please.

Also, wow, Chris Evans brought one of his BFFs from childhood as his date, and dude. She was really spectacularly hot. Like, really, really, really hot.

There's a wider variety of attractive coming out of England, but not that would get work here so much. See also: the difference in casting for the female leads in Broadchurch and Gracepoint.

(I have a HUGE thing for Olivia Coleman, and think she's just gorgeous, for the record, and Anna Gunn doesn't do it for me.)

I think it's a minority of us who find Buscemi sexy. A very small minority, with excellent taste.

OTOH, Peter Dinklage? That's a lot of people. I think it's the dreamy eyes.
