I might like "resting expression perceived as unwelcoming" better.
Do we all need lovely jeweled brooches spelling out "that's just my face"? Welcoming or unwelcoming, really. [I do get approached a lot by people asking directions or whatever, but I don't think it's anything to with my face, I'm just generally non-threatening]
