wow! 33 years old and a Best Actor oscar. That'll jumpstart a long career.
can't watch, no abc, who is this?

nevermind, Facebook told me.
Birdman again! Well, I'm definitely going to watch it now.
Birdman had a good showing, tonight. I may have to actually go and see it.
it winning so much, does make me sad for Keaton though. I really thought he had this. Also I love him.
That was Beetlejuice, right?
I'd say the Oscars this year was a bit all over the place. Apart from the opening number, I thought NPH was off his game, but I loved Lady Gaga, and I was really pleased to see so many winners speaking up about issues and making statements that will get replayed tomorrow.
PS WTF was up with the remark Sean Penn made when he was giving out the Best Film award?!
Can I get some health~ma this week? As far as I know there's nothing wrong with me, but I have my regular screening mammogram Monday and a screening colonoscopy Friday (something I've had to have every few years since I was 35 or so thanks to having a brother and a cousin who had colon cancer in their 40's, plus my dad in his early 60's). At the time scheduling them the same week seemed like a great plan--get all the squishing and prodding out of the way at once--but now that it's actually here my inner worrywart is spinning worst-case scenarios like crazy.
I usually do not like bandage colored dresses, but on Viola it looks good. And the natural hair is fantastic: [link]
With her coloring it looks striking and elegant. Whereas with JLo's coloring it makes her look as if she's naked and halfway through transforming into one of the Great Race of Yith.
I can only imagine that Cumberbatch is thinking "I did it first, you twat, give me that statue."
Poor, poor Cumberbatch: his acting talent was unequal to the task of putting a believable smile on his face when Redmayne's name was called.
much ~ma, Susan.
