Go away, pain. Leave us alone.
I do have a Dr Google cure to report. My nose was so painful with its incipient boil/pimple that I was driven to google home remedies. A number of people recommended toothpaste. I felt ridiculous smearing toothpaste on my nose, but I figured it could do no harm and hey, I live alone. My nose immediately stopped hurting. I thought, "Okay, the mint in the toothpaste is acting as a counter-irritant." I washed it off after an hour, as recommended, and the pain hasn't returned. I have no explanation.
It did cause me to dream that Steph had linked to a Gilbert Gottfried Mr. Potato Head for sale. Where did that come from, brain?

To be fair, I still don't know the full contents of the attic. There might be one up there.
I need to go out and finish shoveling. I don't want to. It's sunny and warm and needs to be done sooner, but I don't want to.
I was *just* coming here to post that exact same thing, sara. I don't wanna shovel either.
I actually don't have too much left to do thanks to last night's foray, but still don't want to. But as soon as I finish this coffee....
Hey, how's the plowing in your new jurisdiction?
Could be better, could be worse. When we went to bed last night around 12:30-1, the streets were untouched. This morning they're plowed to bare pavement. I need to see how badly I'm plowed in though. My back parking area can hold 4-5 cars, but it's in an alley that gets plowed. I may have more shoveling to do that I don't yet know about.
For everyone's amusement, I am at work today. I was actually later today than I was in the snow yesterday, because while the streets are fine, the bus driver decided to park in front of Wendy's and get some lunch, taking 10 minutes.
I have been spoiled living in my apartment complex, having maintenance shovel and plow. Buying my own place means I'll be on my own with the shoveling and who knows about the plowing. Not looking forward to that part of home ownership.
Today's lunch update: have been in line for an hour for BBQ. This BBQ better cure the common cold.
