I should eat lunch. A lunch that will not include hipsters or hot dogs.
Keep America beautiful: eat a hipster.

Lee update: After having spent an hour sitting on the couch playing iPad games, I think I will actually get dressed and leave the house long enough to go get lunch.
No hipsters though
I tried to get a new car stereo installed today, but Pep Boys was all out of installation kits, so it will have to be next weekend. I suppose I can survive one week of commuting with my current tape-with-a-wire-sticking-out-of-it setup.
We've got heavy snow and a LOT of wind right now, hopefully Dylan's train makes it into NYC ok! He's been down in DC with the grandparents for midwinter recess and is coming home this afternoon (with my in-laws - I'm free range up to a point but not quite ready for my 2nd grader to ride Amtrak by himself).
Lee - I slept for 11 hours, got up long enough to decide I needed to take All the Allergy Meds and went back to bed. So good thing we rescheduled!
Yay -t! On the sleep I mean. NSM the allergy meds.
My stepfather's cousin, who is now in her late 70s, was sent from Seattle to DC alone on the train one summer when she was 7 or 8. Even at the time, the family she was visiting was like, WTF?
Congrats on the home-buying, flea!
And with that I need to zip out again and go back to grading. feh.
Oh Zen, you should have told me that 20 years ago, when I used to slug back 5 extra-strength Tylenol at a time, on a daily basis. But now I am a good girl on the acetaminophen front. And my liver functions are fine!
Yikes, Sue, glad you and your liver are fine! In my twenties when I didn't know better, I probably took a lot more Tylenol than was safe, especially considering how much I drank back then.
Sue, you know not to take more than the recommended dose of Tylenol, right?
My nephew should have known this too! He is certified in tons of medical stuff because of the EMT work he does. And yet he has been in the hospital since Monday with part of the problem being Tylenol toxicity. Poor thing, he really just thought he had his usual backache issues and some flu since all around him have the flu. But it was some variety of virus and infection. He had been solving his pain issues with Tylenol with Rum & Diet Coke chasers. Now he is one very sick pup. My sister says they are trying to wean him from sedation today. If he doesn't try and remove his chest and stomach tubes they can wake him up, but if he freaks out again they have to sedate him.
He is improving, but huge massive scary stuff.
Buffista Bonding of the Week: Just spent two silly hours trading Benedict Cumberbatch variants with Fay without stop on FB. There was a mighty nerdly tirelessness in our volleying.
I see your Cumberbanter and raise you comicnerdery with Plei.
ION, it is STILL snowing. We built a snowman, and are going to use glowsticks for the eyes.
Also, my stupid bad left ankle went out under me in the snow, and I am in a moderate-to-significant amount of pain. Mostly, I'm pissed because I don't want it to set me back on my training for the 5K. So I have it propped up, with ice on it, and I have taken ibuprofen and half a squirreled-away percocet, so I hope to be feeling no pain soon, or at least not care that I am feeling pain.
Tim has to finish the snowman's glow eyes and will take pictures, because I am not going back out there. Stupid bad left ankle. I should have a jackass tattooed on it.
