The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I have had Spider-kitty less than 48 hours and already he and Finn are curled up on the ottoman together with Finn grooming the heck out of Spidey.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Awww...

That's great! While my cats didn't fight each other or show hostility, it took them about 6 months to get to that point.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Awww. That's awesome. Way to go, Spidey and Finn.

I'm shocked at how fast they came together. I tried keeping them separated as recommended, but that upset them both more than letting Spidey having the run of the house. My only real concern right now is that Finn is a little off his feed.

Do they have separate food bowls? Not that it's necessary, but some cats are shy about sharing. They may eat from either bowl, they just don't like to be at the same bowl at the same time.

Separate food bowls in different rooms. They have to be separate for now, as Spidey is still on the food from the shelter (I'll start weaning him onto decent food later this week).
