meara, hopefully good "interesting"?

I have deeply mixed feelings on home ownership. I also have mixed feelings about the concept of a (semi)permanent address.

So, I've watched most of the first season of The Librarians (I may yet finish it tonight). This show is just delightful, on a variety of levels.

I woke up early this morning and decided to just get up, so that maybe I can do some sitting around AND some errands this morning. Usually I just manage sitting around before it's time for lunch with my dad.

So far, so good! When I was in the shower, I thought I heard noise in my apartment, but then decided I was being crazy, and it was just my mother walking around upstairs. But no! When I got out of the shower, I see that she brought me flowers and a card! Sweet.

So not only had to be at work at 5am. I was given incomplete or incorrect instructions, so am now having to try and correct shipping shortages. Grrr.

I need to not sleep the way I did last night. Too bad I don't know how that was, just angry shoulder.

Market accomplished, barely. Now to get in the car and do all the shopping. Then showdown with washer and clean this house.

But first, some asprin or something.

Argh, msbelle! Hey, my phone has learned your name, nice.

Have omeletted (sort of - as a Perfect French Omelet it came up short, but as a delicious breakfast it served just fine) and am about to coffee. Staying in bed until after sunrise is so nice.

I hate it when I think I have turned the burner under the empty pan off when really I have turned it to high.

oh dear, -t, I hope it didn't burn.

I really need to learn that if I'm having a cocktail, no really -- TWO DRINK MAXIMUM. Woke up at 3AM dehydrated and headachey, argh.

And I had a very weird dream in which my cognitively-impaired father rented a semi-trailer truck and tried to drive it up into the mountains, but got into trouble when the brakes gave out. Plus there was a family party. Or maybe a funeral. Very strange.

My plantar fasciitis is flaring up, so instead of my usual Saturday run, I'm going to the gym to sit on one of the stationary bikes. Right. Doing that now.

I may have caught in time. If not, I know where to get a replacement, although this particular pan is from a discontinued line. Oh well, once it's washed we'll see how ruined it is.
