Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That is usually for the best!

Now I can add my thumbs up to the Panera mozz/tomato sandwich. I got it with tomato soup, which is possibly a tiny bit much, but still good!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

OMG, why am I so exhausted? I am too tired to work! For no good reason! I have got to get my shit together. At this point, I almost wish I would get actually sick, so at least I'd have an excuse.

This is exactly how I have felt for a couple weeks now. So over it.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Shrift, I still don't know anything about the product I'm going to be working on at Audible (it's new and under an NDA) so maybe that won't matter either!

My keyboard is going NUTS right now! I think it's time for me to take a really long lunch. Bosslady keeps trying to have meetings with me on my second-to-last day here, and I don't wanna.

Jessica, do you have to commute to Newark now?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Good luck, shrift, and have fun storming the parades!

Moss/tomato sandwich and tomato soup sounds like the kind of much I can appreciate. Not today (because I am still kind of full of leftovers), perhaps, but in general.

Moss sandwich?? That sounds a little scary to me. :)

I am very tired but mostly because I slept like crap last night and had to wake up a couple times to do stuff like take painkiller and get a heating pad.

Also annoyed at the project manager for my one study, who keeps insisting I ask doctors which days they are available at 4PM Pacific (both docs are on the west coast with me) but then scheduled the meeting at 1PM Pacific...and when I asked which time she meant, insisted 4PM as if I were an idiot, but ignored the whole "meeting at 1PM" thing. UGH>

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I was planning on tomato soup with my lunch, but now I'm sad because I don't have mozzarella to make a sandwich. Noes!

Today is our kissa-engaga-versary, though, so we're going out to dinner tonight (we have a Mardi Gras party on Valentine's Day, so this is sort of the Valentine's Day substitute, although we don't care a ton about Valentine's Day except as an excuse to go out and have a tasty meal), so maybe I can make up for my lack of cheesetastic sandwich tonight. I think the place we're going has a cheese plate as an appetizer, which is right up my alley.

Weird, meara. Your PM, I mean - a moss sandwich is also weird, but at least easily explained by known technological quirks.

A moss sandwich might be refreshing on a hot summer day. Like a BLT, but squishy. Not that I will be testing this idea, but I don't actually know.
