He raided the small Irish town of Baltimore
I have been to the Irish town of Baltimore! It's not
that
small as it has a fairly busy port. Beautiful though, right on the southernmost tip.
I was the opposite of a surprise baby because my Dad had been exposed to an Ultraviolet machine he worked with and it killed his sperm count. So he took shots for years to build up his sperm count so they could conceive me.
Well, that's not entirely true that I wasn't a surprise. My parents had actually started adoption proceedings on a young boy up in Canada (they were stationed in St. John) when my mom got pregnant with me.
Oh, that's great, JZ! What a good policy.
Right on! Will you be in town, or accepting in absentia?
Yes I will be in town. It's being given during a CCM reception at the USITT conference. I'm in Cincinnati from March 17 to 27 for the conference.
If you have free time, maybe you and flea and I could get together for Skyline or an alternate dinner/drinks/general hanging out.
I am proof that sometimes IUDs are not effective birth control.
I am also stunned with the precision my parents used in placing me and my siblings' births: 9/6/72, 9/9/75, and 9/11/78. Although I know my mother had a miscarriage between me and my sister, so apparently the could conceive at times other than that one week in early December.
Um, Thai Express is clearly called for! I'd suggest taking you to Christy's Rathskeller but they tore it down.
I was born when my parents were 40 & 41, and 7 years after all their other kids. I was pretty clearly a whoops! I blame Christmas.
Congrats Drew for being Outstanding!

Oh, heck yeah! I amend my earlier suggestion. Maybe by March they'll have sticky rice with mango on the menu.
I joke that my parents didn't have time to plan me. They married in November. I was born the next August. They'd been married 9 months minus 6 days.
