Jesse, does this mean you get to interview all over again?
Yup.
Did you tell her that, Jesse?
Vaguely, but I wasn't actually trying to talk her out of it, because on general principles I think it's a good idea for her to leave here -- she's been in different jobs here since she got out of college 4 years ago, and I do believe in moving around!
That makes sense. Bummer for you, though!
Today is the first day of a week without camp and I'm regretting it already. Anyone want two kids? They tend to behave well for others, promise!
I have to go to campus today for more interviews, this time for part-time lecturers, so really Cody is going to bear the brunt of Franny's stink fest, poor guy.
This morning I avoided a downpour because I hit the snooze button a few times, and yet still made it into the office in good time. I think that will be my adulting peak for today.
I got downpoured on on my way to the train this morning. I had my folding umbrella with me but it rained hard enough I wished I had my bigger non-folding umbrella with me instead.
I, OTOH, left the house 5 minutes late and got to work 30 minutes late (-r than I like to; I was still in by my 9am meeting). TRANSIT!!
::shakes fist::
I got up at 5am to drive my mom to the airport. Got to work at 7. Tired now.
Why is Franny stinky?
Just her behavior. She smells fine, but she was pitching a brat fest earlier today. Now she's calmed down and Isaac is starting to act up.
They traded off, new shift coming on duty now.
I totally heard the downpour and decided I'd skip camp breakfast. But then it stopped so I had to scramble to get dressed and over there.
But I'm happy because right now I thought I had rec time, but I forgot this age group gets a siesta time, so I'm taking one too. Yay naps.
