dubious reality shows on tv called Amish Mafia. I am transfixed.
Completely dubious. As in all fake. One of the cast members was jailed for a bit. Car chase that happened in the town where the restaurant is located. He spent a few months as a citizen of the Perry County Jail.
Yeah, that's what we figured, Maria. Because wha?!?
5150 isn't necessarily violent: it can be someone who needs to be committed for their own safety, like someone who is suicidal. It's not good, but it's not always quite that bad.
Although I think, given our neighborhood (a few blocks from Haight Street and the park), our ER probably gets a disproportionate share of the scary ones. Even without the violence, they're still emotionally rough (worst by far, obviously, for the patient, but hard on everyone).
I know everyone has been waiting with bated breath, so I can report that the non-Bogs boots worked out quite well this morning! Although I wasn't actually walking through much snow, they were plenty warm and comfortable to walk a mile and a half in.
Horrible triple murder in Chapel Hill last night. Three Muslim students were gunned down in their apartment complex in what appears to be a hideous hate crime.
Yay boots!
I chose waking up and chili omelette. For values of "choose" that include waking up at 4:30 and reading the last chapter of The Magician King instead of going back to sleep. Working out ok for me so far.
I saw that on the news this morning, amyth. Just terrible.
This doesn't in any way equate, but the Little League drama this morning is also really depressing.
Oh no amyth. That must be what they were talking about on the radio - I only heard a snippet about the victims. Man.
