Damn you, Zappos -- now I want to keep both!

That's how they get ya.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I highly recommend boots that allow you to tromp through puddles like a little kid.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I thought the boots had similar cuteness levels, but those pulling-them-on handles on the more-waterproof ones may be the most brilliant thing I've seen in a very long time.

I think once I'm assured of sizing, I'm going with bogs myself.

I actually found myself annoyed with the big handles, as that was less height that I was protected. But I'm also in a lot of situations where I have to wade out in 6" of snow or more for work. But that's also me being lazy and not having my gaters handy.

Thrive to spite them

I would go with Bogs. I want a pair like that but my calves are too wide.

You see Bogs everywhere in the Fall/Winter up here in Vermont.

I like big in the toe box for comfort reasons. Do not like cramped toes.

Uhg, A & I's plans with B for his 50th have gone off the rails. Both of our workplaces interfering. I just want to hole up but need to go out and be cheery and celebratory.

I am eating cauliflower "rice" stir fry with shrimp. It's not bad, except I apparently added way too much ginger and not enough ...something else? Not sure what. May add a little more soy sauce.

I don't know what these "cinnabon delights" are from Taco Bell, as I don't think I've been to a Taco Bell in years, but they look delicious in the commercial.

And I vote whatever the more waterproof boots are...but which are warmer??

I'd argue that warmer is not necessarily better if they get wet. And big toe spaces are also good for winter, helping with the warmth issue.

I love my sorrels. They're not sexy, but Thayer warm, waterproof, and like walking on sofas. I got introduced to them on an outing club in college, and were from the general supply for kids like me who didn't have the right gear. They were two sizes too big for me and ended up not giving me a luck of trouble hiking up Frankie's Pass
