"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Suzi,

if you pay the rent/mortgage, can you really run away from home?

(hope things get better 'ma at you)

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

That's so feline.

As opposed to gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door. That's so raven.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Just like a writing desk.

OK, office clothes are packed so I can theoretically go to the gym before work. We'll see if I can actually pull that off.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I came back home and things are a better. Or the two fingers of whiskey helped make them appear better.

Hope it's actually better, Suzi.

Got my burritos made, I did not think that would happen. I think that gets me up to 12 breakfasts and 7 lunches with ingredients to hand for several dinners, so I shouldn't starve this week.

My nephews have made over $150 picking up pinecones at $.05 each.

My parents have a lot of pinecones. They're also having a blast with the boys. I haven't heard my dad this silly in a while and he's the one generally less patient with kids on a 24/7 basis. I think they've hit an age where he engages best with them. Of course, now he wants to take the eldest out to the shooting range, but is unsure about his mothers reaction ( I think she'd be fine, but I love that he actually thinks to ask. Unusual for him!)

...my dad never took my brother and me shooting. Hell, he never owned a gun til long after we left. But he was notorious in his hood growing up for shooting out street lights ...so he'd have better viewing with his telescope.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

As opposed to gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door. That's so raven.

BT is my fave given my usual username and the amusing, TO ME, pun I play on it: Quoth the Raven, 404.

Or the two fingers of whiskey helped make them appear better.

I took benzos. I think morning might look better. Or at least well-rested. I'd prefer the prior but settle for the later.

Jebus, adulting is hard.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

ARGH -- my excellent staff person just gave notice. UGH UGH UGH. My boss and I had plans for her next promotion already!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I love your dad, sarameg.

Jesse, does this mean you get to interview all over again?

It's oddly humid today and I'm trying to think of something to do today that does not involve being sweaty.

Thoughts?
