amych, that's a standard line in every "this person is no longer with the company" email I've ever gotten. It works out well because there's no indication if the person was terminated or left voluntarily. The company's ass is covered and the ex-employee's dignity is theoretically preserved. The truth always comes out though.

The notification went out at 10:30 this morning. I've had a convo with the VP, but I have yet to talk to her boss to figure out exactly how we're going to tackle this.

I haven't been given additional help, but I do have an admin team that I share with others that puts together my bids and proposals, and sends them out.

We'll see how this goes. Shit is going to fall through the cracks. This is a big country.
