I, for one, wasn't looking forward to starting my day with a slaughter. Which, really, just goes to show how much I've grown

Sadly, Superfantastic Supper Club has not met in over a year. And while I've hung out with one of them, only on rare occasions, the other one got married, got two dogs, bought a house, and I have literally not seen her in a year and a half. Or heard from her (other than facebook posts). Sad. (But yes, it would totally work for that! Maybe I just need to find new people for it...except I'm also on a diet for the next few months, so maybe not a good time for that. OTOH, hoping in a few months the dresses will be too big!)

I wore my hs prom dress on my porch for Halloween. I think that makes clear where I stand,

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

My de-cluttering project today netted three $25 Amazon gift cards. I also re-arranged the art on my walls to make way for a new piece. I have one frame that holds three photos and I've decided I need new photos in it. I'm trying to decide on a theme. Skylines? Urban art? Nature?

Because books.

Black and white skylines!

Nice, aurelia. Not that I have an opinion on photo themes, but well done you.

I have officially given up on cooking and shoved all my thawed meat back into the freezer. Somehow this has turned in to me defrosting a pound of sausage in the microwave so I can scramble up some eggs with it. IDEK.

Can you refreeze thawed meat?

Yes, I am confident that I can.

I don't know why I thought you weren't supposed to do that. Very likely one of my mom's "if it's been out of the fridge fifteen minutes it's gone bad" rules.

Pretty dresses, meara.

No, they used to say you couldn't, for some reason, but I've seen that specifically debunked. It may be suboptimal for taste, but it's not dangerous, and I made my peace with suboptimal food storage a long time ago.

Skyline options: [link] [link] [link] I probably ought to drag myself to the North Ave bridge and get some shots from there.

Urban art: [link] [link]

Maybe water: [link] [link] [link]

I guess I need to dig through my archives and paste things into trios to try them out. Or start carrying my camera with me more.
