Angel: Connor, this is Spike and Illyria. Guys, this is Connor. Connor: Hi. umm...I like your outfit. Illyria: Your body warms. This one is lusting after me. Connor: Oh...no, I--I--it's just that it's the outfit. I guess I've had a thing for older women. Angel: They were supposed to fix that.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Shoveling, as reviled as it is, remains overrated.

We are going to a fancy lunch today, but costco and target first.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Today we are going to a baby shower for a couple in our dance group.

Ann, that's a ferret.

RIP Dean Smith. A great coach and a great human being.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I didn't do a g.d. thing yesterday, so today I have to be at least marginally productive.

Ditto. I think I already got more done this morning than I did yesterday but the next step is going to TJs and that means going out in the rain and I don't wanna

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Did the bulk of Dad's taxes yesterday, and this morning I've already rolled out a pie crust for a quiche I'm bringing to a Festivids party. Now it's off to the gym, since it's raining too hard for running.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

A deadline always helps. My mother called and asked me to meet her at church to go see my father, instead of her coming back here. So I jumped up, threw in the laundry, ran out to clear the walk and steps and showered. Phew. (NB: Even in the snow, I believe it is less hassle for her to drive back here and then back out, than for me to make my way on foot, but whatever.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh! Taxes! Maybe I'll do that today?

Our wings are not tired.

RIP Dean Smith. A great coach and a great human being.

Indeed. One of the good guys.

I need to get my butt in gear and go to the office. In theory I can do as much work at home, but the office configuration makes me work better and not lose focus quite so much.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I also need to do more today than yesterday, but between the rain and my hand hurting I really don't want to do much. Maybe more coffee will help with that...

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Since no homework got done yesterday (we ran errands and shopped for clothes for Mac), today 2 hours!

I am trying to get Mac's computer set up with an account where he can only do school work. I hate Marc's computer. 1) It is a pc and I use a Mac. 2) It is windows 8. 3) it runs slow as molasses and I have no idea why.

I cannot ever seem to remember my own logon for the blasted thing so am forever having to reset my windows password. Today I am finally just starting a list of logins and passwords and I will transfer it to a doc on my Mac later. I'll have to figure out how to lock a pages document.
